The trail maintenance and reconstruction work on the Mount Wilson Trail and Bailey Canyon Trail is being done by Trail Reconstruction/Maintenance Crew volunteers who have registered with Bob Spears, Sierra Madre Trail Reconstruction/Maintenance Crew Leader. The work is extremely technical, dangerous, difficult, and slow.   The pictures below were taken and are from previous years. Neither the City of Sierra of Sierra Madre nor the US Forest Services provides any funding for labor or supplies.
