The rains in December and January severely damaged the Mt. Wilson Trail that included the installation of a 30-foot wooden bridge due to a complete trail washout.   There was other significant trail damage and a lot of repair work is still to be done.  While the work is done by the Volunteer Trail Maintenance Crew, the supplies must be paid for with community tax-deductible donations to the Fletcher Trail Maintenance Fund.  Neither the City of Sierra Madre nor the US Forest Service provides any funds.  Please check out the donation section on the website to learn how you too can support the work to keep the trails safe for public use and ready for Mt.
